What’s your name and what genre would you consider your books to be?

Dzintra Sullivan. I consider my genre to be a mash-up between Paranormal and Romantic Comedy.

Tell me about your book. How did you come up with that (story, angle, idea)?

Rumor, is the last book in a seven book series. So with so many strings to tie up and make the ending everything the readers needed and wanted it to be was difficult.

The book has a large setting down in the seven levels of hell. So I did a lot of research into what they were and how it effects the souls that are trapped there.

Can you tell me about your Series?

The Halfway House Series, is a series about a bunch of misfits. When the gifted cant fit in, they find themselves at a halfway house for rehabilitation before they are sent to the island of shadows for the damaged. This is the last stop for them, if the den other cant fix their issues, they are doomed for eternity.

What writing advice do you have for aspiring authors?

Do it. Wrote from your heart and stay true to your characters. That, and get professionals to help with editing and covers.

Do you read reviews of your book(s)? Do you respond to them, good or bad? How do you deal with the bad?

I love every single one, good and bad. Why? Because someone cared enough to write it.

Release day, it’s an amazing high.

Nope, but I can promise you will looooove it.

Why did you choose to write in your genre? If you write in more than one, how do you balance them?

It’s what is in my soul. Very simple, I thunk the genre chose me, not the other way around.

My parents.

Dakota Cassidy, Nina Bangs, Kerrilyn Sparks, JR Ward.

Nope, I love them all equally.

Both, I am energised to sit and write, and by the time I off load the words I am exhausted.

Stress, it’s a word killer.
