Ahha (Anna) Antipova was four years old the day her strung-out mother left her and her brother alone on the side of the road. After a year spent in a Russian orphanage, the siblings were brought to America by English-speaking people who promised a safe, forever family. Learning a new language and culture was nothing to Anna, who grew into an overachiever in a home with strict rules.
As the primary caretaker to her adoptive parents’ blood children, Anna spent most of her teen years doing anything she could to please her parents. In fact, she excelled in most everything she touched. Abram, her brother, went the other way, stirring up trouble and expecting his younger sister to clean up his messes. She didn’t mind, it was only another year or two, she reasoned. Besides, he’s all I have.
Until one day…
Two weeks before her high school graduation, Anna sat in an emergency room surrounded by strangers. With permanent scars earned at the hands of her adoptive mother, she needed to escape a home that was no longer safe. The problem was she was only sixteen. A minor with no legal rights to emancipate herself, Anna struggled to find a way out. Counting on the kindness of strangers and her boyfriend, Elliot, Anna found herself desperate to see her own life. But it was not easy. With the system working against her, for now she could see no escape.
Until another day…
Anna saw her chance the day a National Guard recruiter showed up at her high school. With graduation on the horizon and nothing stopping her from finally being with Elliot, she became courageous. Enlisting was the easy part. So was boot camp.
The true battle began when she had to convince Elliot to wait for her while she completed her MOS training and pending deployment.
Now, they face the challenges of a long-distance relationship, young love, and strains most couples would crumble beneath. But Anna is a soldier, fiercely set on her mission to keep Elliot’s love. He is, she reasons, all I have.
Armed with a plan to overcome more obstacles, Anna and Elliot navigate their love through the years and a 1,000-mile military separation. They face hurdles at every stage. Together, they must decide: Is it possible to hold on to love when everything’s a battle? Is love worth the fight? Is it possible to find a Happy Ending? And how do you recognize when it’s time to retreat?
Until the day she becomes fearless.
***Based on actual events, “From Russia, with Love” is the story of a real-life Russian-born soldier who risked it all to be free to marry her American true love, in the country she has come to love. ***

My Interview with AUTHOR C. FREELAND!

MY INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR C. FREELAND!!

What’s your name and what genre would you consider your books to be?

My name is C. Freeland and my current genre is Fantasy, though I have several other books in the works in different genres.

cc

Tell me about your book. How did you come up with that (story, angle, idea)?

I came up with the idea about 13 years ago when I first heard the song Caveman by Jimmy Eat World. There was just something magical in the lyrics about monsters living in backyards that got my imagination spinning with possibilities. It just took off from there.

How did you get interested in writing this particular genre (historical novels, mysteries, sci-fi, children’s books, etc.)?

My mom introduced me to books by Terry Goodkind and movies like the Neverending Story at a young age and I have always loved fantasy in particular because of that. The possibilities are endless when creating new worlds and characters and that’s what I love about it. Writing in this genre is so flexible.

What kind of research did you do for this book?

The only research I did was looking up meanings of names and their origin.

What’s a typical working day like for you? When and where do you write? Do you set a daily writing goal?

My days are crammed full of mom responsibilities and working a full time job. I always get up early and make sure the kids are all ready for school, and then rush off to work. I try to make time for the gym before going home and carting off kids to their respective sports games/practices. Somehow I manage to squeeze in writing time somewhere in there but I usually stick to writing at night after things have calmed down. I don’t have a daily writing goal because I just know I would fail to meet that goal 99% of the time.

Do you have a new book in the making and if so, what’s the name of your upcoming book?

I do! I don’t have a name for it yet, though. It’s currently saved in my writing folder as: Chocolate Ice Cream, though I don’t believe chocolate ice cream will ever play a role in it.

How important are character names to you in your books? Is there a special meaning to any of the names?

It varies. In my current book, The World Between the Trees, the ‘human’ names don’t hold very much meaning but the fantastical characters all have names that pertain to their strengths or background. I spent a lot of time looking up names in other languages/origins and their meanings and deciding if certain names really fit the character.

IMG_2496

Where do your ideas come from?

Anywhere and everywhere! Most times I will just jot down a note when an idea strikes which can get confusing when I find a scrap of paper in the bottom of my gigantic movie theater snack smuggling purse that says “neon poptart bar” and will have no idea what I meant by that.

What is the hardest part of writing for you?

It would definitely be promoting myself as an author. I’m not a huge fan of the spotlight and prefer to be an observer so this entire experience has definitely brought me out of my comfort zone. To me, writing is the easy part. It’s having the courage to put it out there for everyone else to see that is most difficult.

What do you think of book trailers? Do you have a trailer or do you intend to create one for your own book?

Before getting picked up by Feather Dreams Press, I had never even heard of a book trailer. I’m still learning about them but I doubt I’ll make one. I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve seen from the other authors and can appreciate the hard work that goes into them!

What do you consider to be your best accomplishment?

As far as writing accomplishments, it would definitely have to be finishing my first novel, putting it out there for others to read and getting it published by an amazing team of inspiring people.
Outside of writing accomplishments, I have to say one of my best accomplishments is beating Bowser’s Castle in Super Mario World on the first try in front of my kids, thus then and forever proving that I’m the real OG.

What’s the best thing about being an author?

Having the chance to hopefully impact others with my writing, the way I have been impacted by books I’ve read in my life.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I have no idea but I can honestly say that I hope it involves having a pet alpaca.

Have you always liked to write?

Absolutely! I’m sure my mom still has ‘books’ I wrote in first grade somewhere. I’ve always enjoyed creating, whether it be drawing (which I’m not so great at but I can draw a mean stick horse), playing music or writing.

What writing advice do you have for aspiring authors?

Just write what feels right to you. Write about what makes you happy, something you care about or believe in or enjoy. Don’t worry about what’s cool or trending and never stop writing!

If you didn’t like writing books, or weren’t any good at it, what would you like to do for a living?

I think I would be doing what I do now. I work for a charity company in the air ambulance organization and it’s very rewarding work. I feel like I make a difference in people’s lives and I get to see the long term effects of our work.

Do you read reviews of your book(s)? Do you respond to them, good or bad? How do you deal with the bad?

I haven’t gotten far enough in the process to get an official review but I do plan on reading them. I believe in taking the good with the bad so bring it all, I’d love to see what people think either way.

What is your least favourite part of the writing / publishing process?

I’ve loved it all so far. Even coming out of my comfort zone has been enjoyable because it means I’m growing as an author and finally accomplishing what I’ve always dreamed of doing.

What are you working on now?

Besides gearing up for the release of my first novel, I’m currently writing a Sci-Fi (I think, it’s still in the early stages) novel.

Why did you choose to write in your genre? If you write in more than one, how do you balance them?

I like to write what I’m passionate about. Not only does that make it fun, I think if an author truly enjoys what they’re writing about, it comes through in their work and also makes it enjoyable for the reader.

Where did your love of books come from?

My mom. She read to me all the time, suggested books and gave me her old ones after she was finished with them. She’s basically taught me all the cool shit I know from how to bake amazing biscuits to how to properly shot gun a beer.

IMG_2671

Do you have any favorite authors or favorite books?

I love anything by Ray Bradbury but most of all Dandelion Wine. He’s such a beautiful writer. Stephen King has always been a favorite, especially The Stand and the Dark Tower series. Anything by Terry Goodkind and Dean Koontz. I’ve also enjoyed the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. My tastes range from far and wide so I really could go on forever.

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favourite and why?

My favorite is definitely Vojin. He’s stoic and heroic and isn’t your typical ‘save the day’ kind of guy. He’s a man of very few words, dark and mysterious and was definitely the most fun to create. He is also one of the few characters that has stood the test of time and has always had a role in this book as it’s evolved through the years.

Where can readers go to discover more about you and your books?

My brand spankin’ new author facebook: https://www.facebook.com/authorc.freeland.3
I also have a Twitter: https://twitter.com/AuthorCFreeland

The activity is very sparse but I promise there is more to come in the future!

Does writing energize or exhaust you?

Both. I get exhilarated when new ideas keep rolling in but after writing for several hours and trying to get the images in my head to translate into words, I’m ready for a burrito and a nap.

What is your writing Kryptonite?

Definitely my family. I have a huge family and we are all loud and crazy so it’s hard to get much done with them running through the house like maniacs. God, I love them.

Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

I will always be true to myself. I believe a well written novel about something a writer is truly passionate about will deliver much more than a book written just for the sake of being written ever will.

What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?

So far my circle is very new and very small but everyone I come across has been so supportive and I think that is key in being successful. Having a group of supporters who truly want to see you succeed makes all the difference. I must say that the wonderful Jane Curry has been my lifeline in this whole process. I owe so much to her!

If you were writing a book about your life, what would the title be?

Arnold Schwarzenegger, 80s music and mismatched socks, oh my!

What question have you always wanted to be asked in an interview? How would you answer that question?

I have never given it much thought but one of my favorite questions my kids have ever asked is:
Would you rather have leg sized fingers, or finger sized legs?
And I would definitely have to say leg sized fingers. Just imagine all of the thumb wars I would win.

GREENER (Escape From Reality Series Book 3) by Erin Lee

Greener:

Greener (Escape From Reality Series Book 3)
by Erin Lee
Link: http://a.co/63L1E9T

We all do it.

It’s part of what makes us human. There are names for it – jealousy, envy, and sometimes even greed. We daydream about what someone else has. We convince ourselves that things would be better if we were someone else altogether…The grass is always greener, we believe. Or is it?

For Caroline, being left alone would be everything. She’s had enough of doctors and nurses telling her how to live because of a mistake she made as a kid. The idea of another shrink makes her cringe. Yet, she doesn’t have a choice. Not if she wants to keep living on the outside.

For Nora, being seen would mean the world. It’s been years since she’s had a hot shower without sneaking around but no one notices. No one cares to ask. It’s her job to smile, pretend everything is great and ask them about their days instead.

And for Dennis, the ability not to care at all would solve his difficulties. If only he could stop worrying about what people thought of him. To live authentically would make things so much easier. He could finally close the door to his past.

Three people with entirely different problems and one thing in common: They are trapped with a need to escape. Ironic, when Escape, Colorado is exactly the place tourists expect to find their own escapes. But then, the tourists are human too…

The grass is always greener?

My Interview With AUTHOR ARDENT ROSE!

MY INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR ARDENT ROSE!

IMG_2553

What’s your name and what genre would you consider your books to be?

My pen name is Ardent Rose, but my friends call me Rose. I write in several genres but mostly romantic erotica.

Tell me about your book. How did you come up with that (story, angle, idea)?

Wild Horses is a love story about a woman who finds herself on the side of the road with a flat in the middle of nowhere. Olivia is a city girl and before she can go toward town in her heels and dress her knight drives up in a truck. Garrett is a horse rancher who rescues her. They strike up a friendship which leads to much more.

I have a friend of mine loves horses and he encouraged me to write what he called ‘our story’. A pure work of fiction, I started out with Olivia and Garrett and horses and they wrote the rest. It only takes me the spark of a thought and I am off and writing. Usually all I need is an opening paragraph.

IMG_2547

How did you get interested in writing this particular genre (historical novels, mysteries, sci-fi, children’s books, etc.)?

I have read hundreds of romance novels, not to mention I am a romantic at heart. I love happy endings and being able to show the growing love between characters.

What kind of research did you do for this book?

I researched horses and geography at first. I was having a tough time with locations, so I decided on making up my own and ran with it. Then I imagined the old west with modern amenities and Tomitown was born. Doesn’t hurt I am a huge western fan, I watch The Virginian nightly (crush on James Drury) and weekends are filled with John Wayne.

Can you tell me about your Series?

I am currently writing the sequel, titles Rope the Wind. In the first book, the villain threatened revenge. My readers are crying for more Olivia and Garrett, so I have brought back Sarah and Erik, who will be book three. These four characters will solve the problem of a contaminated water source and Phillip with exact revenge on Olivia for her betrayal. Garrett and Olivia will continue their Dom/sub relationship and wildfires will threaten the area and The Double T ranch, Garrett’s horse ranch. In the third book, I will explore more of Sarah and Erik’s relationship… TBA

IMG_2546

Do you have a favorite book out of this series?

Not yet…lol

Where did you get the inspiration/idea for your series?

My readers want more, I looked at the story and saw the next book to be one of revenge and intrigue…

What kind of research did you do for this book?

I took a closer study of horses and poison and of course water contamination.

Was it always meant to become a series?

No, it started out to be a standalone.

What’s a typical working day like for you?

I try to tackle social media in the mornings. Afternoons are spent writing and some evenings as well. IF, I am not writing I try to read. Since joining Bella Tulip, I feel I should help my fellow authors by reading ARCs and writing reviews for them.

When and where do you write?

We live in a two-bedroom apartment and I am lucky to be able to have the second bedroom as my office. I just this last weekend reset my office. I have been recovering from foot surgery and my workspace had become a mess, for accommodating my needs. It is all organized and I have one side of the room with my writing desk and across the room is my swag/jewelry desk.

Do you set a daily writing goal?

I try to write at least 2500 words per day. Monday thru Friday I write and the weekends are for catching up on swag and my reading.

Do you have a new book in the making and if so, what’s the name of your upcoming book?

My next release from Smoke and Mirrors, INK is Ian’s Story: The Immortal Clan Keith It is a paranormal erotic story that started out on my WordPress Blog as The Tapestry. It is the story of an Immortal highlander, Ian Keith, and how he found his bonded mate. Along the way, we meet ogres and trolls and a powerful witch. This book is ready for pre-order and will be released on June 17th.

IMG_2551

How important are character names to you in your books?

Extremely, I believe names help us with the vision of that character. Some names are funny- like Harry or George. Others show strength like Nick or Max or Ian. Women’s names evoke feelings as well, Patricia or Katherine I think well-bred or intelligent. You may hear Cami or Lily and think more delicate or petite female. Just my opinion, I don’t judge others by their names except in books. LOL

Is there a special meaning to any of the names?

Ian Keith was the name of the overseers of Dunnotar’s Castle in Scotland. I also try to match names with the origin of the area I am writing about. I keep a list names when I hear neat ones on television or see one. I use baby name sites to find meanings quite often.

Where do your ideas come from?

Lyrics of songs, photos, conversations with others, dreams. Places I would like to visit. Most of my writing to date has a special person attached to them.

What is the hardest part of writing for you?

Until recently, editing. Since I have had surgery, it is finding a routine and balancing between promotion and writing. I have a wonderful PA, Shanna Blanton and a street team Rose’s Petals that do a marvelous job of promoting me, but it still takes time to make teasers and do takeovers.

What do you think of book trailers?

I absolutely love book trailers, but I don’t have any. I am used to doing everything myself and yet to learn that trick.
Do you have a trailer or do you intend to create one for your own book?

IMG_2547

What do you consider to be your best accomplishment?

As an author writing the first book and self-publishing, that takes courage.

What’s the best thing about being an author?

To be the creator of your own stories, the world’s and characters are limitless. Stretching and challenging my mind to see things differently.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

As a best-selling author, of course.

Have you always liked to write?

Yes, language and English were my favorite subjects in school. The love for research and hearing your opinion heard has always been part of my life. Poetry has also been a catalyst in many things I have written over the years.

What writing advice do you have for aspiring authors?

Don’t stop writing and find an editor who will not only help you but will give you honest feedback on the do’s and don’ts of your work. We only learn by our mistakes if we know what they are.

If you didn’t like writing books, or weren’t any good at it, what would you like to do for a living?

Designing jewelry and crafts, my second love in my hobby world.

Do you read reviews of your book(s)?

Yes, I try to read them.

Do you respond to them, good or bad?

I have only responded to a few. I do try to share my gratitude by posting on Facebook, when available.

How do you deal with the bad?

Chalk it up as a critique and try not to take it personally. One time I asked a blog for a review, they gave me three stars and the remark referred to my work as not their kind of book, but if you like sex it is for you… That may have been the best review, but they knew what they were getting before I sent it out. Another time it was formatting errors. I re-edited it and resent it. It was a first effort book.

What are you working on now?

I am currently writing the sequel to Wild Horses, Rope the Wind.

IMG_2548

Can you give us a few tasty morsels from your work-in-progress?

Excerpt from Rope the Wind …
Garrett stepped up behind Olivia and kissed her ear. “Ready to lead her out, babe?”
She took the reins and stepped slowly forward. Shimmer didn’t hesitate, followed her right into the trailer. Garrett secured her and took the moment to touch his woman. He pulled her into his arms and pressed his body into hers. “The sight of you with that pony makes me crave your touch.”
She nuzzled her nose into his beard. “Is that so, Bear?” He wiggled his hardness against her tummy for proof. “Then I will just have to ride her naked one day.”

Excerpt #2 from Rope the Wind
She grinned from his praise. “Take your place on the bed, face down for your training.” He experimented with various size butt plugs in preparation for anal sex. Olivia silently lay her torso on the bed and spread her feet wide. Garrett chose a medium size plug. He dripped lube all around her perfect flower, and rubbed before placing a finger inside. She gasped but didn’t move. “You may speak my love. Does it feel good?”
“Yes Master, exquisite.” She purred.
He bent down and kissed each cheek. He inserted the prepared plug. She whimpered momentarily. “Are you ok?”
“Fine Master, just adjusting.” Her shoulders relaxed, he knew she was ready for the next step. With both hands, he rubbed her ass cheeks and massaged them and just as suddenly smacked her and swiped down her slit. Her body jolted and she mewled with pleasure. “Again, please Master. I need more.”

Excerpt #3 from Rope the Wind

Garrett entered the living room, Olivia lay on the floor in front of the fire. “Hey darlin’ how was your day?” He drawled in his sweetest voice. He rounded the couch and slid down next to her. Olivia curled into his lap and kissed him.
“I saw something today that shook me, but how can it be?” Her voice sounded far away, but she couldn’t rid herself of the feeling she had seen Phillip in town.
Garrett wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair. “What has you so upset?”
She recounted her afternoon with Peter and when he left what she thought she saw.
She lifted her head. “It was surreal like a dream. I tried to brush it off as excitement, but I don’t know.” Her body shivered. He poked the fire to make it spark, but he knew she wasn’t cold, just frightened.

Why did you choose to write in your genre?

If you write in more than one, how do you balance them?

Where did your love of books come from?

My mother has always read trashy romance novels, Harlequin Romance was the norm for her habit. My best friend in high school got me hooked on Phyllis Whitney.

Do you have any favorite authors or favorite books?

When I was growing up I read lots of YA romance. Then when I started reading again I began like many with The Hunger Games, then I went to FSOG and I confess I have read them 9x… But then I found the vampires, JR Ward, Lara Adrian, Gena Showalters, Kresley Cole. My love for highlanders comes from Karen Marie Moning.

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favourite and why?

Stefan Calinescue from Romania with Love, I worked hard on that book. I researched Romania and Cluj-Napoca traditions and culture. I wanted this book to be perfect, a friend of mine is the sexy muse and he is Romanian and lives in Cluj.

Does writing energize or exhaust you?

When I begin, I am energized, but by the time the day wears on I can tell when it’s time to refuel and rest my brain.

What is your writing Kryptonite?

Interruptions, until I became a published author, although I have been writing for two years, my time was not taken seriously. My time now is better respected.

Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

Originality is what I strive for. I am always looking for a unique situation that maybe hasn’t been written to death about.

What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?

I cannot possibly list them all, but their love and encouragement means the world to me.
Raven Moon is a big fan, Angel Rose is another one. Patrick Khayler my strongest author supporter.
Reed James is truly a gift to me, he reads and reviews and is honest with me. Ashlee Shades, Emily Foxx, Nikki Belaire, Gabriella Messina, Amber Joi Scott, the list gets longer. I read their books and find myself setting higher goals, to just have my name mentioned in their presence. My greatest love is when an author, who I love, reads my work and loves it.

If you were writing a book about your life, what would the title be?

Lost in Translation

What question have you always wanted to be asked in an interview?

I was recently asked, paraphrasing of course, can you be a lady (southern belle) and write naughty stories?

How would you answer that question?

I believe with the right words and voice or tone in your writing it can be achieved. I am not aggressively suggestive, I use the romantic feelings to offset the action and yet the outcome is not vulgar or offensive.

My Interview with AUTHOR CHELSI DAVIS!!

MY INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR CHELSI DAVIS!!

image1

What’s your name and what genre would you consider your books to be?

My name is Chelsi Davis. I consider my books to be thriller/suspense.

Tell me about your book. How did you come up with that (story, angle, idea)?

I walked into my house one day, and had this mini freak out session that stuff had been moved. Just little things. I still don’t know if it happened or I was just running on no sleep, but I thought; ‘what if things were being moved? What if someone came into my house and I didn’t know?’ I literally built the entire story from there.

How did you get interested in writing this particular genre (historical novels, mysteries, sci-fi, children’s books, etc.)?

I wrote what I would love to read. I love reading and the majority of what I read is crime, thriller, suspense, and horror.

What kind of research did you do for this book?

Not a lot. Just some research on names of small towns, and signs of domestic violence.

What’s a typical working day like for you? When and where do you write? Do you set a daily writing goal?

I work a full time job, as well as having 3 boys and 2 step daughters that also live with us full time. I write when everyone is asleep. It’s the only time it’s quiet enough to hear my thoughts. I usually write in my living room because it’s away from all the bedrooms. I try to set a goal, but it doesn’t always work.

Do you have a new book in the making and if so, what’s the name of your upcoming book?

I am working on another book, but I haven’t titled it yet.

How important are character names to you in your books? Is there a special meaning to any of the names?

I am weird about names. I struggle with names about as long as I did naming my children!

Where do your ideas come from?

Sometimes they come from discussions with other authors/friends. Other times they come out of nowhere.

What is the hardest part of writing for you?

Staying focused

What do you think of book trailers? Do you have a trailer or do you intend to create one for your own book?

I think they are an amazing marketing tool! I do not have a book trailer because I am not that talented! haha

What do you consider to be your best accomplishment?

Completing my book. I never thought it would get finished, and then when it did I never thought it would get published. Now that all those things are done, I am so thankful and happy I stuck with it and kept writing.

What’s the best thing about being an author?

Connecting with other authors and readers. The book community is an amazing thing.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully, still writing! Somewhere warmer than Ohio.

Have you always liked to write?

Yes. I have loved everything book related since I can remember.

What writing advice do you have for aspiring authors?

Don’t give up. Set a goal, stick it out. Get it all out on paper, then worry about edits, changes, etc. I was given amazing advice throughout my entire process, so anything I could do to help someone I would!

If you didn’t like writing books, or weren’t any good at it, what would you like to do for a living?

I love anything pertaining to Psychology so something in that field, or social work.

Do you read reviews of your book(s)? Do you respond to them, good or bad? How do you deal with the bad?

I do. I can’t help it. I don’t respond to the negative because I wouldn’t want to upset someone, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. There have been books that I haven’t liked, or even been able to finish so I get not liking a book. Not everyone is going to like my stuff.

What is your least favourite part of the writing / publishing process?

WAITING! I am the world’s most impatient person. Waiting to finish the book, waiting to submit until I edit, waiting on answers after I have submitted to publishers, waiting on the entire process consumes me.

What are you working on now?

My 2nd book.

Can you give us a few tasty morsels from your work-in-progress?

SURE.

I had a need. A need to not worry about him doing this to me again. Sadly, I allowed it. A couple years later, when he had ‘grown up’ and that time—my stages of grief ended at anger. I didn’t allow myself to get any further than that, and I never would again. That’s where this business venture started. Who wouldn’t want to watch the person that broke them down, and made them cry, suffer a little? I operate strictly by word of mouth and my services range from investigations, to revenge. I have been in business just shy of eleven years, and just a couple years ago my best friend joined me. Is what we do wrong? Sure, in the eyes of the law, we’re in the wrong. But who decided guys (and sometimes women) could go around destroying other human beings? Why isn’t that illegal too? Besides, it’s only illegal if we get caught, right?

What Genre do you write? If you write in more than one, how do you balance them?

I chose to write what I would want to read. I think it makes it easier to write when it’s something I am interested in.

Where did your love of books come from?

I have no idea, but I am thankful for it!

Do you have any favorite authors or favorite books?

Oh man, I have a TON and I am going to feel bad if I leave anyone out. Favorite books right now are Whispers and the Roars by K. Webster, Shatter Me by Alex Grayson, literally every word written by Tarryn Fisher and Colleen Hoover is a favorite. Have You Seen This Girl by Carissa Lynch, and Like Ashes We Scatter by Bradon Nave.

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favourite and why?

Lexi in Domestic Disturbance. She is strong, and fierce, and independent.

Where can readers go to discover more about you and your books?

I am online!

also on twitter and Instagram

Does writing energize or exhaust you?

Both! If I am completely emerged in what I am writing, and I do it for a long period of time without taking a break, it will wear me down quick.

What is your writing Kryptonite?

Dr. Pepper and Investigation Discovery

Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

Original. I am obsessed with trying to do something that has never been done.

What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?

I have so many ‘author friends’ that I truly adore. I have built connections and learned so much from them!

If you were writing a book about your life, what would the title be?

‘What am I doing?’
