lilykate_deliverygirl_ebook_finalGood things come in extra-large, smoking hot packages.
Things like pizza.
The very pizzas that I deliver for my dad’s restaurant, Peretti’s Pizza. It’s a temporary job, something to pay the bills until I graduate from school, but it does the trick. In fact, it’s working quite well until Ryan Pierce of the LA Lightning decides to order a pizza from me, and life as I know it turns upside down.
You see, Ryan Pierce doesn’t just open his front door. He opens it buck naked. And suddenly, I’m not the one boasting the biggest, hottest package in the room. However, it’s what happens next that makes my stomach flip upside down whenever my phone beeps. Ryan starts to call, and then text, and then fifteen pizza deliveries and one hot-as-sin kiss later, we’re friends with benefits.
So when he asks me to be his fake girlfriend at his brother’s wedding, I’m happy to help. But the longer we pretend, the more I worry that this is one package I might not be able to handle.

Synopsis

Chelsea
I’ve always loved those books where the younger sister falls for her older brother’s friend. Those stories have played a key role in my fantasies since my divorce six years ago. Unfortunately, I don’t have an older brother. I have a younger brother, and his best friend, Luke, has always been more annoying than attractive. At least, that’s how I’d seen him in the past.

Since Luke has walked back into my life, he is far from the awkward teen he was the last time I saw him. He is a walking temptation that I know I should avoid. Luke, on the other hand, has no doubts about our future, a fact he’s made clear from the moment we reconnected. He’s everything I could want in a man, which leaves me wondering if it’s really his age that bothers me, or if it’s my trust issues.

Love Without Batteries Series
Following their disastrous marriages, Brook, Chelsea, and Delaney swore off men. After years of being on their own, these ladies have decided they want more. At the age of thirty, the three friends make a pact to re-enter the dating world. Little do they know they are all destined to find love in the arms of younger men.

***Each book in the Love Without Batteries series can be read as a standalone novel.

Authors For Aleppo: A Call For Action Auction Event Sign Up
A Message From Trinity Rose:
I haven’t been an Author for long, but what I have notice is that we are a large community filled with caring and awesome people. I am asking, pleading, begging for every person in this community to help! From Writers, Editors, Cover Designers, Photogs, Models, Bloggers and PAs to please donate. I have set up a Go fund me page for Doctors Without Borders (did you know your donation is a tax write off…)

Book Haven Promotions and I are setting up a 3 day auction and Author Takeover Extravaganza in February 1, 2 and 3, 2017. All I ask for those to participate is to donate $10-20 to the Gofundme page for Doctors Without Borders and supply goodies for the auctions! All Proceeds will go to the Gofundme page.

Since the beginning of siege of East Aleppo City in July of 2016, Functioning hospitals have been damaged by over 35 separate attacks. With hospitals being attacked multiple times, they have been forced to close. Many of these hospitals are Doctors Without Borders supported or run. They are now facing critical supply shortages and the ever-diminishing number of health care workers, such as medics, MD and nurses due to fleeing or being killed.
Prior to the Siege, DWB were able to send regular 3 month supplies of medical provisions (equivalent to 10 full trucks) to all supported health structures. DWB run programs of active regular support to 70 medical structures, which vary from small rural health posts to full hospitals in urban areas. Over time with the increase in attacks and specific targeting of hospitals and health clinics the supplies have become nonexistent.
For example, in Azaz District, DWB runs a 32 bed hospital Al Salamah that has an ER, outpatient/inpatient consultations, surgical care, maternity and additional support services (pharmacy, laboratory and radiology) . In January to August 2016, the staff at Al Salamah Hospital undertook 33,000 outpatient consultations, 1,765 inpatient consultations, 19,506 ER visits and 1,214 surgical interventions. These numbers are increasing as the air strikes continue.
Most recently as of November 16, 2016 air strikes have been relaunched and several hospitals hit repeated. Among those hit were a children’s hospital. This pediatric hospital was the only specialized hospital for child care in the area. The hospital staff managed to move children including premature babies from cots and incubators to the basement of the building to shelter from the bombing.
From November the access to health care in Aleppo has become non-existent. According to DWB supporters 4,350 people are wounded, including 510 children. Death tolls are 1,060, including 510 children (these numbers are under reported do to families choosing to bury their dead, than transporting to hospital morgues)

We met at the age of eight. That day on the playground was a turning point in my life.
Her life wasn’t easy. Mine was a cake walk.
She was a good girl. I was a troublemaker.
She was everything and without her I was nothing. I knew it the first time I saw her, and I still know it now.

She wanted me to live my dreams, and I wanted the same for her.
Ten years later, we’re still living separate lives—seeing one another when we can, which wasn’t often with her living in New York City and me in LA.
I know my lifestyle has never been one she can handle—the fans, the media, there is no privacy or peace—but I can’t be without her anymore.

I need her.

She’s the love of my life and when I asked her to come to me last Christmas, she said yes. I’ve been waiting for her, and now she’s here. My heart is finally whole.

But not everything is about me. She’s giving up her life there to merge it with mine here. She’s giving up her privacy. She’s giving up her anonymity. She’s giving me everything.

I’m going to give her everything of me in return. But will our love be enough? Can the good in our lives overshadow the bad? Or will all the obstacles we’ve so carefully avoided break us completely?

Lily Luchesi is a young author/poet born in Chicago, Illinois, now residing in Los Angeles, California. Ever since she was a toddler her mother noticed her tendency for being interested in all things “dark”. At two she became infatuated with vampires and ghosts, and that infatuation turned into a lifestyle by the time she was twelve, and, as her family has always been what they now call “Gothic”, she doesn’t believe she shall ever change. She is also a hopeless romantic and avid music-love who will always associate vampires with love, blood, and rock and roll.
Her interest in poetry came around the same time as when she was given a book of Edgar Allan Poe’s complete work. She then realized that she had been writing her own poetry since she could hold a pen, and just had not known the correct terms. She finished her first manuscript at the age of fourteen, and was first published at twenty-one.
Her debut novel, Stake-Out (Paranormal Detectives Series Book One), was published by Vamptasy Publishing on May 19th, 2015. Book two, Miranda’s Rights, was released on January 8th, 2016. Book three, Life Sentence, was released on August 2nd, 2016 by Vamptasy Publishing, and book four, Right To Silence, was also just accepted by the publisher and will be released on January 17th, 2017.

Her first erotic short story, “Have No Fears”, was published in the Hot Ink Press anthology Naughty Bedtime Stories: In Three Words on October 10th, 2015. She will also have a short erotic horror story, “The Devil’s Dozen”, in the Hot Ink Press anthology Death, Love, Lust, which was released on February 4th, 2016. Her horror short “Too Young To Kill” was released in the CHBB Publishing anthology Lurking In The Shadows on June 28th, 2016.

Take me, all of me, broken and in pieces, or say to hell with me.”

WARNING!
This book will break your heart!
From the best-selling romance author of THE EDUCATION OF SEBASTIAN comes a sexy, heart-breaking and heart-warming story about one man and his dog. (Standalone)

Alex is lost and alone, with only his dog, Stan for company. He doesn’t expect kindness from anyone anymore, but sometimes hope can be found in the most unlikely places. He has a second chance at happiness, but there’s a dark side to Alex, and a reason that more than one person has called him crazy.
Single mother Dawn is doing just fine. Except that her ex- is a pain in the ass, her sister isn’t speaking to her, and her love life is on the endangered list.
At least her job as a veterinarian is going well. Until a crazy-looking guy arrives at her office accompanied by an aging dog with toothache. Or maybe Alex Winters isn’t so crazy after all, just … different.
Dawn realizes that she’s treated him the same way that all the gossips in town have treated her—people can be very cruel.

Contains scenes of an adult nature.

This is a standalone novel with no cliff-hanger.

He still reminded me of a Mountain Man, and he appeared to be wearing the clothes that I’d thought were rags. His long, shaggy brown hair and thick beard hid most of his face. A shudder of apprehension ran through me.
He seemed just as ill at ease as he had been by the lake, his eyes darting around restlessly, but then he walked around to the passenger door and I lost sight of him.
When he reappeared, he was carrying a large dog, one that easily weighed 80 or 90 pounds. He must have been strong because he carried the weight easily. I recalled the thick slabs of muscle that sculpted his chest and arms when I’d seen him earlier. Yes, there was no doubt that he was strong, but as he held his pet, his hands were gentle.
I watched his chin bob, and I realized that he was talking to his dog.
Carefully, he set the animal on the ground and fixed a leash around its neck.
The dog immediately sat down and refused to budge. His coat was thick and looked glossy and healthy, his muzzle starting to gray. I guessed he was part retriever, part mastiff—large and solid. And heavy.
Ashley giggled as the man tugged on the leash, but the dog still wouldn’t move. The man stood still, looking at his pet, his hands on his hips, then he shook his head in defeat. Bending down, he scooped up the dog again and shouldered his way through the door into the office.
Now he was closer, I could study him in more detail.
His hair was a tangle of light brown with sun-blond lights, still uncombed, an off-putting mess of wild, crazy curls. His clothes were even worse now I could see him wearing them, unkempt and torn as if he’d given up, but they were clean. And when he stopped in front of Ashley, I caught the faint scent of soap and laundry detergent—no cologne. This man was a paradox.
Ashley smiled tightly from her position behind the reception desk.
“Mr. Winters and Stan, is that right?”
He nodded but didn’t speak, still holding his dog in his arms. His face was grim, as if he’d never smiled, never thought of smiling.
So this was the man who’d bought Old Joe’s place? I immediately felt guilty that I’d assumed he was trespassing and camping illegally. I didn’t know that somebody had already moved into the property. Technically, I’d been the interloper this morning. I felt like such a judgmental bitch. But he’d really scared me, and I hadn’t been thinking clearly.
“I’m so sorry,” Ashley said with fake sweetness, “but Dr. Petz, our male veterinarian, had to go out on an emergency visit. Dr. Andrews over there is available.”
He turned to stare at me and his body stiffened. I saw a flicker of recognition in his eyes before he dropped his gaze to the floor again. I thought for sure that he’d turn and walk out, but then he glanced at his dog and I saw the expression soften in his curious golden-brown eyes as he peered up at me and nodded slowly.
“Great!” said Ashley, her gaze glancing across to me. “I’ve got basic information from your email, but if you could just fill out this form and…”
“Maybe you’d like to bring Stan into the examination room, Mr. Winters,” I interrupted quickly. “He looks rather heavy.”
The man blinked twice, but carried the dog inside without commenting or even looking at Ashley.
“Rude!” Ashley said, not quietly enough, and although I agreed, I shot her a look and took the form from her.
She leaned toward me, her eyes wide as her voice dropped to an urgent whisper.
“I’ll keep my ears open, Dawn. He looks kind of weird. You know, serial killer weird.”
I pressed my lips together and followed my new client.
