Bennett and Cassie are at it again, this time looking the ultimate challenge in the eye and deciding, after everything they’ve been through, why not?
AFTER ALL THIS TIME
Some people are meant to be together, even if they find each other through tragedy. When Bennett Saville’s brother jumped off a bridge and landed on Cassandra Wallace’s car, their lives become intertwined in a way they never wanted to unravel. But so much has happened, and most of it would have been soul destroying if they hadn’t had each other. And now, after all these years, they are ready to take the final step to declare their love, but Bennett’s star is rising fast, and being a famous actor with a hit movie might undo all the trust they have built their love on.
ALWAYS
Cassie isn’t the jealous, insecure type, but things have changed, and so has Bennett. Coming into his prime as a man and as a highly regarded actor, Cassie, ten years older than her lover, begins to worry that their foundation is shaky, and that she can’t compete with the jiggly twenty year-olds who throw themselves in Bennett’s path. What she can’t see is herself through Bennett’s eyes. If she could, she would know always and forever is all he ever wanted with his Cass.

Author Bio:
The ‘Official’ stuff
Susan writes steamy, sexy and fun contemporary stories, some suspenseful, some gritty and dark and others that hopefully make you think. She’s also Editor in Chief at Divine Magazine, an online LGBTQ e-zine, and a Charity Board trustee at The Being Me Campaign in London.
Susan attained PAN status with the Romance Writers of America with her first M/M book, Stripped Bare. She’s currently a member of The Society of Authors in the UK, and the Authors Guild in the US. She enjoys being a member of Queer Romance Ink, All Author, Book + Main Bites, and the Paranormal Romance Guild.
The ‘Unofficial’ stuff
She loves going to the theatre, live music concerts (especially if it’s her man crush Adam Lambert) walks in the countryside, a good G &T, lazing away afternoons reading a good book, and watching re-runs of Silent Witness.
Her chequered past includes being mistaken for a prostitute in the city of Johannesburg, being chased by a rhino on a dusty Kenyan road, getting kicked out of a youth club for being a ‘bad influence’ (she encourages free thinking), and having an aunt who was engaged to Cliff Richard.

Interview with Author
How and when did you get started as a writer?
I’ve always written, even as a child of eight or nine years old. I got the idea for a story back in 2012 and had to get it written down. Once it was finished, I thought, why not submit it to a publisher? So I did, not expecting much back and was truly surprised when someone took it on. That was the start of my official publishing career as a writer.
What are your goals as an author?
To entertain, make people feel emotions and tell stories people can identify with and relate to.
When did you first consider yourself an author?
I’ve always been an author I think, even if nothing was published yet.
Did you have a hard time sharing your work with the public?
No, I write the stories FOR them so I love it when they read my work.
What inspires you to write?
Lots of things. A chance remark, something I see on social media, a story in a newspaper, a place I visit and people I meet, a remnant of a dream….
If you could be one of your characters for a day, who would it be and why?
I think I’d like to be Quinn Farimont. He’s a character from Double Alchemy and he’s a warlock and a powerful character who balances real life with his secret alter ego of running a supernatural empire. He can do spells and stuff and I love that idea.
What are you working on at the moment?
A new spinoff series from one of the books in my Men of London series called Feat of Clay. The new series will be about the already established couple, Clay and Tate, as they work their way through some strange cases they are offered by an ex-lover of Clays. The couple own their own investigative agency and end up solving some truly weird crimes.
Can you give a little morsel of what you are working on?
He shone his torch into the hole formed by his efforts at clearing a space. His startled yowl must surely have woken the other occupants of the paint-peeling apartment block he resided in. Min-Jun leapt back, adrenaline-fuelled terror playing havoc with his heart. With shaking hands, he aimed the torch back into the basement.
There, lying still, and out flung, was the body of a large fox with huge yellow eyes and a swathe of grinning teeth. Not just a fox—a fox as large as a six-foot man.
Min-Jun stepped forward and crouched down. He reached out a tentative hand and prodded the bedraggled paw of the animal. The whole arm flopped down off the window ledge where it had been resting. A relieved smile spread across his face.
“Ha-ha,” he chuckled as the rain pelted down on him. “It is only a costume. A silly fur costume. Who would leave such a thing here, it’s—” He broke off, staring down in puzzlement at the flashing item that had attracted his eye in the first place. Further down on the ledge, the dim street light reflected off a man’s signet ring, large, silver and with something like an opal set in the centre.
Min-Jun knee-walked over to it, ignoring the dirt and mud on his jeans. Perhaps someone had lost it and he could claim it as his own. His cousin Stanley had a pawnshop in Wandsworth. If this ring was real, it might fetch enough money for Min-Jun to buy that new art set he wanted.
It was only when he saw the ring was still attached to a severed hand that Min-Jun began to scream.
What can we expect in the near future?
Well, apart from the new series I’m working on, a stand-alone book about a zookeeper and a – shall we say – rather sassy supernatural character he meets through some strange circumstance. I also have a book about a rock star on the cards, a YA fantasy novel and a sequel to Living on Air.
If you could choose an author to be your mentor, who would it be?
Oh, John Wiltshire for sure. He’s an incredible writer and I love his books.
These questions are just for fun. If you’d like to do them it would be great. But these are up to you. I am just very appreciative for you doing this interview. Thank you♥️
Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?
My aunt Delia was once engaged to Cliff Richard.
What is your greatest weakness?
Impatience. I’m terrible at being patient about anything.
What is your greatest strength?
The ability to get things done. I’m single-minded and driven, and tend to make things happen.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
I wanted to be a journalist, so I suppose being Editor in Chief of a magazine and a writer isn’t too far from the mark.
