MY INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR LORNA MICHAEL’S

What’s your name and what genre would you consider your books to be?
Lorna Michael’s and right now I am a multi genre author, I have published poetry, memoir, soon pnr and erotica bdsm
Tell me about your book. How did you come up with that (story, angle, idea)?
Letters to Emma is a fiction/ non-fiction book of my life experiences it is written in the form of letters to my stillborn daughter telling her things I would have if she had lived
These are letters written to my heavenly child: the one I carried for a short time but never got to watch grow into the beautiful woman I knew she would be. As much as it is sharing a lifetime of memories with her, it is also about me finding the strength to heal emotionally. These letters will detail the events in my life I would have told her about had she been with me.
It is also a healing process for me. There will be details of childhood abuse, mental illness, domestic violence, and death. However, there will also be a story of love that breaks all barriers of time and space. This is also a tale of unconditional love and the strength of a woman that has seen and experienced so much that she bends from time to time, but she never breaks.
Read on to find out how Katherine and Calvin share a life full of love for each other and their children and how they face and cope with whatever challenges are thrown their way.

Thoughts pop in my head

Not yet since I am a new author and finding my own

When the characters refuse to talk or when I have an image but no words

Editing
What are you working on now?
Yessss madam a bdsm erotica love story
Can you give us a few tasty morsels from your work-in-progress?
I, Christopher Jones have never explored my submissive side. That is until I met Madam Sabine. As a man, you’re expected to be dominant and to rule the household, oversee everything. However, that has never felt right to me. I do like control in my life, just not in the bedroom. I never understood before why I was so different. I wanted women to dominate me, tell me what they wanted me to do to them. Every woman Eugenie, my brother or John, my best friend, would set me up with on a blind date just felt wrong. Something was always missing, something still felt off. I was wrong.

Why did you choose to write in your genre? If you write in more than one, how do you balance them?
Right now, I can not choose a genre to write in and I don’t think that I will be able to my ideas come in many forms
Where did your love of books come from?
My grandmother
Do you have any favorite authors or favorite books?
Twilight saga, Sookie Stackhouse series

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favorite and why?
So far, I would have to say Katherine from Letters to Emma, Katherine has experienced so much tragedy and abuse in her life and she has been able to over come it all. She was told she never could work and proved everyone wrong by holding down a fulltime job most of her life. She was told she could have kids and she did just that she had kids
Does writing energize or exhaust you?
I am energized while writing depending on how long I have been writing for it can exhaust me
What is your writing Kryptonite?
The lack of voices in my head causing an inability to write

Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?
Originality for me
What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?
I am friends with a lot of indie authors just starting out. There are a few that I share my work with and we bounce ideas on ways to improve out work
If you were writing a book about your life, what would the title be?
The voices in my head are driving me crazy
