I lost my husband unexpectedly in a tragic accident and now have to move back to my childhood home in New Orleans. Thank God for my friends Wesley and Paige. I’d be absolutely lost without them. As I pick up the pieces of what is left of my life, we settle back into our old routines. That is until I hire Olivier to work for me. Now my world is once again turning upside down as the people I’m closest to, old and new, shed the skin of what is familiar and ultimately redefine the nature of our relationships. Couple all of this with the return of my debilitating headaches and ominous dreams of green fire, and well, I’m just at a loss.

What do you do when what you thought you knew turns out to be wrong? What do you do when you find out you can’t trust the people closest to you? What do you do when you keep trying to move forward but life keeps getting in the way? And given all of this, how am I supposed to figure out who Charlotte Grace is now?

Oh my!!!

I am just so upset with myself that I had not read this book earlier. I have been drawn in asking question after question about what was going to happen next right after reading the first couple of chapters.
My eyes are so wide with amazement right now.
I would of finished this book in one day but I fell ill. I am so glad I that I am fighting being sick and sleep to finish this Exceptional book.
P.M. Briede has left me in utter shock and wanting. Thank you for a great read!!!

Description of WILD FIRE (Grace series#2)

I know their secrets. Most people would end their relationships with these men. These men who betrayed my trust, and in some cases, my heart. Unfortunately for me, I’m not most people. Hell, there are times when I wonder where and when my common sense abandoned me.

Then there’s the war. The war you don’t know about. The war I shouldn’t know about. But I’m centered in it because I’m a pawn of higher beings, angels. Well, ex-angels, exiles, to be exact.

The only way to stop this exile rebellion is to track down its instigator, prove it’s not someone I love. Only problem is that exiles can hide their face from the world if they choose, and most do. Then there’s that pesky fire, the ignes iudicii, which doesn’t just kill you, but burns you out of existence, out of history, altogether.

All I have to aid me in my quest are these men, until one of them betrays me. So here I stand, Charlotte Grace, essentially alone. 

My Review of WILD FIRE:  

This is going to kill me!!! Lol. I am so very glad that this series is finished so I can read the next book.
Once again P.M. Briede has done it again. Given me a whirlwind of a journey between good & bad. Or blue & green.
My heart is still racing and my eyes wide. I just want to know what’s going to happen. Ugh.
This is just a great book. Wow!!!
I don’t know what else to really say until I finish book 3.
I really hope that Charlotte chooses correctly. Well, with the man I want her to be with. Lol

I have an exile on my side, a double agent if you will, who can no longer stand idly by.

So this is it. Charlotte Grace is going on the offensive. I may not be much, but you better hope that I’m enough. 

My Review of ASHES: 

I am a loss for words.

Wow!!!! What a rush. Just starting to read this book had me salivating for what was to come!!! P.M. Briede really had me at the very first word of the very first book of the series. I loved this love triangle of Charlotte, Olivier, and “The Whelp”. This book was extremely exciting. Just had me wanting more and more! In fact, I am finished and wondering- MAY I PLEASE HAVE MORE!!!
There are some strong images in this book that might trigger someone that has been violated. I just need to give a warning.
This book was really amazing and she really did a great job of keeping me wanting more.
